
Charissa Murray is a painter who utilizes oil on canvas, wood panel, and glass. She has been painting for over 20 years and it has always served as a therapeutic tool as she has navigated the ups and downs of life. Her subject matter and variance in styles embodies the variety found in everyday life. She is often inspired by family, her backyard garden oasis, or her dreams. She takes an unplanned approach to most of her pieces letting the subject form itself. She is based in Savannah, Georgia and paints from her home studio. Her hope is that her art can invoke a sense of inspiration, introspection, and joy in those who bring it into their homes.
